I think this is something that could be my signature look for a week to come. Totally love how this looks up close.



I've been tinkering with photoshop tutorial and Adobe photoshop. I saw plenty of tips but changing the background was the easiest thing to do.

Next, I'm gonna try my damnest to make my picture into a polaroid shot. Yippieeee!!!

Lipstick Love

I originally wanted to sell Vivacious because pinkish purplish are always hard to work on my skin tone. It's probably just me, but I looked like d-rated tranny when I had that kind of color on my lips. So, before throwing it off to a market, I wanted to see if it still would work for me. See how persistent I could be when it comes to lipstick? I wish I had the strength when it comes to my bank account. Over the weekend, I managed to buy MAC blush Coygirl, MAC MSF Sonic Chic Gleeful and a Stila lip glaze, ordered LashBlast Very Black waterproof, 2 EM brushes.

Come next month, I'm so dead.

FOTD - August 25, 2008

This is me today, showing off my new paint pot (Pharaoh....LOVE!) and nail polish (Zoya Yummy) possession.



I had a laidback weekend (supposedly). My Saturday started when Hanif knocked on the door when I was at the loo almost crying telling me that his right eye was swolen. He had the slight red bump under his eye for a couple of days. So off we went to the doctor as he was such a big believer in the medical world. God bless him. The doc prescribed Garamicyn salve for his eye and Y-rins and some kind of antibiotic.

After that off I went to my kids' school to pick up their school books (this always happened, they kept forgetting and made me real mad!), then took Aca to the Cheese Cake Factory, ordered Oreo and Blueberry cheese cakes and cold cappucino. Heaven! Then both of us went off to pick up my parents at the airport and if luck had anything to do with the flight arrived on time, I'd say Saturday was my lucky day.

Sunday ended in an extremely pissy mood. I was at the mall at 6:30 pm when mom started calling telling me to accompany my dad. I hated interruptions when I was doing stuff so I was in bad mood from then on even though my dad wasn't completely alone at the house when I arrived. I had to ask for a big hug from Bibi so I could cool off a tad.

I have been rocking all/most of my neutral collection these past two weeks and eventhough neutral face is not me, as I love a bolder look, it certainly is not too bad.

FOTD - August

I haven't posted plenty of FOTDs in the past couple of month. Writing and reading constantly on Fashionese Daily were a total time stealer. I haven't been this major procrastinator ever since I discovered FD. What can I say, after years thinking that I would be the only who in Jakarta/Indonesia to care about face products and makeup, suddenly I met plenty of like-minded lovelies. So I'm hooked and broke. What else would happen if you hang out with girls who consistently told you that this and that product looks fantastic.

So here's what happen today.




Basically, I just layered nice vice paint pot over soft ochre pant pot on my lid, then swipe sunpepper pigment across the lid and add grape pigment on the v area and crease for a bit of countour. To make the color a bit lighter, because after all, it's work day, I put golden lid on the middle of my lid, line my upper line with blacktrack fluidline and grape pigment on lower line.

For my face, I've been using Pond's Day Cream instead of my usual sunscreen. I figured since I'm not out in the sun for more than 5 minutes, I might be able to get away with less SPF protection. Layered all different kind of blush over light flush MSF Natural created a fresh glowing complexion. Don't you agree?
