Party Look to the Reunion

I have a 20 year reunion to go to in New Jersey that I couldn't go to. So instead, I cooked up some idea of what I'd like to look like. Mind you, it's around 8:30 pm, I just got back from work, was about to wash up before bed. Why not? That yellow dress wasn't a dress at all, just this shawl I tossed on my shoulder. The bottom? None! I' m at the bathroom, anyway. It was fun, though, playing dressed up. I had to dig several boxes to find me some earrings.

Wait! There's no earrings on the 1st picture.

Pretty festive, ain't it?

Happy Halloween!

I've only been to 1 Halloween (1987), I was dressed up just wearing my praying outfit (a mukena and sarung) and went door to door for some treats. I was in my senior year but that didn't stop me from being a 5-year old.

Fast forward to the future, I still adore Halloween and the idea of going out in costume. I so understand the temptation of being someone else, dressing up as a monster or fairy and all that.

Happy Halloween. May you stuff yourself with all the sweetness life can offer!

Wedding

I'm addicted to wedding. It's not so much going to the wedding, prepping myself, trying to find a party outfit that still fit (and that challenge has snowballed lately), but more to see the happy couple, going through the ceremony, looking at the bride's make up and sometimes when my mom tagged along or vice versa, we would gossip about how horrible/beautiful the brides looked like.

These were the recent ones I went to.

Ms. Pudjo's wedding; she's Kasih's kindie teacher. The bride and groom wore Padang traditional wedding costume. She looked absolutely stunning in this purple get up. I totally heart purple.

The other one was Ms. Fani's wedding, a teacher at LIA Cikokol-BSD. Didn't she look dashing in the gold outfit. The bride and groom wore traditional custome from Sunda, West Java.

*note to self* do some bicep tricep curl. STAT
